Recognized as the only official organization responsible for the esports community in Kuwait, the Kuwait Esports Club operate as a non-profit organization, with their main objective being to promote and grow esports activities both at amateur and professional levels and drive engagement across a large audience base.  They also aim to create a safe and fair environment for local esports talent and to inspire and guide the community to seek the highest international recognition possible.
In order to achieve this, the federation will launch a number of tournaments and leagues catering to school and university students. This age group represents the bulk of esport participants in Kuwait which consist mostly of young players  between ages of 10-15 years old.
Closely resembling the global trend, shooters, sports and MOBA are the three most popular genres in Kuwait, with Call of Duty, FIFA and League of Legends being the three most played titles.
Fully aware yet not content of this fact, the KESC aims to expand the diversity of esports participants by addressing the needs of early enthusiasts as well as pro players.  The increase in the participation of female gamers is a priority for their organization who have already set plans to work closely with neighbouring federations in the Middle East region for a more concentrated and unified effort.
Also, thanks to the versatility and variety of esports titles, there is a significant increase in the number of esports enthusiasts of 20 years old and above.
Representing his federation, chairman of the Kuwait Esports Club, Mr. Abdullah Al-Ali said "On behalf of the Kuwait Esports Club, we are delighted to become a member of AESF.  We are honoured to be part of this prestigious organization and hope that we can contribute towards achieving its goals and objectives".
