AESF Signs MoU With China Sports Information Center

Beijing, China PR, 3 August 2023 – A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between the Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF) and the China Sports Information Center (CSIC) in Beijing on 3 August 2023. The AESF was represented by Sebastian Lau, the Director General, and CSIC was represented by Zhang Yuping, the Deputy Director.

The collaboration between the two organizations will focus on four areas of cooperation in preparation for the upcoming 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. These areas comprise the following:


  1. Development of standard Esports competition Regulations and Guidelines for the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games
  2. Establishment of Task Force with Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee (HAGOC) and Host Broadcasters (HB)
  3. The National Technical Officer Workshop and Test Event
  4. Esports Development and Education in China PR


The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) marks a significant step in fostering close collaboration and cooperation between the two organizations. With a focus on the four key areas of partnership, such joint efforts will contribute to the success and further advancement of the sport at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games as well as in China in general.
