Bangkok, 15 September 2025 – The Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF) will host its 2nd General Assembly and the AESF Esports Forum from 9 – 10 October 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand. The 2nd General Assembly will bring together representatives from all thirty-eight (38) AESF Member Associations and will be the first general assembly to be presided over by AESF President, Mr. Santi Lothong, since his election in April 2025. A key highlight will be the official handover ceremony from former president Mr. Kenneth Fok, who has led AESF with distinction for the past eight years. In recognition of his outstanding service, Mr. Fok will be conferred the title of AESF Honorary President.
The AESF Esports Forum will be held under the theme ‘Shaping the Esports Ecosystem and the Future of Asia and Beyond’. The Forum will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions, gathering AESF’s member associations, partners, and key stakeholders. Alongside the participation of AESF’s 38 members, invitations will also be extended to seven additional national esports federations that are not yet AESF members, ensuring representation from all 45 Asian countries and regions. The Forum will also explore emerging opportunities in esports education, careers, and inclusivity and diversity, among others. This approach offers a platform for cross-border collaboration and dialogue.
At these events, AESF will also announce new strategic partnerships and initiatives, further highlighting its commitment to building a collaborative and diverse esports ecosystem. Reinforcing its role as Asia’s leading continental esports body, AESF will continue to strengthen international cooperation, expand the regional esports ecosystem, and shape the future of the industry across Asia and beyond.
