Dato’ Sri Megat D Shariman Zaharudin, a member of the ASEAN Para Sports Federation (APSF) Board of Governors, has been elected as the sub-regional representative for Southeast Asia on the Asian Paralympic Committee (AsPC) Executive Board. He will serve a four-year term from 2023 to 2027 as the region's representative within the AsPC Executive Committee. This election was held in Hangzhou, China, coinciding with the ongoing 4th Asian Para Games.

The AESF and APSF have established a partnership to advance and promote Esports among para-athletes in Southeast Asia. This collaboration involves APSF's participation in AESF's 'Esports for All' Program Task Force, as well as their joint efforts to study and identify classification types for para-athletes in the realm of Esports.
