The Esports events at the SEA Games 2023 have come to an exhilarating close!

As the Technical Delegate leading the Esports Program at the SEA Games for the 3rd time, AESF would like to express our gratitude to Cambodia, the host country, as well as all our Member Federations who contributed to the immense success of the event. Held in Cambodia over 10 days, the Esports Program showcased the extraordinary talent and fierce determination of teams from across the region as they vied for gold in a variety of PC and mobile games.

In total, there were 27 medals up for grabs, resulting in an overall tally of 33 due to shared medals. Leading the charge was Indonesia, claiming three gold medals in VALORANT, PUBG Mobile, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. We congratulate all the winning teams and athletes for their outstanding performances.

The SEA Games 2023 Esports Program has not only showcased the immense growth and popularity of esports in the Southeast Asian region but has also highlighted the dedication and commitment of the athletes and organizers involved. We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who made this event a resounding success, and we eagerly anticipate the future of esports in the region, filled with even more thrilling moments and extraordinary achievements.

The Road to Asian Games Regionals awaits them, providing another platform for them to showcase their skills on an even grander scale.
